The career I have chosen was an architect. They design schools, houses and many other things they also have to ensure safety in those buildings. The architect and client first discuss what the client wants. The architect sometimes helps decide if a project could work at all or if it would hurt the environment. The architect then makes drawings for the client to look at. If the plans are okay then the architect will draw up the final plans.

The requirements for this job are first of all a license. In order to get a license you need a degree in architecture. Courses are architectural theory, building design, math and science. Then you must finish up an internship. Finally, you must pass all sections of a license exam. That would be the requirements for this job.

Two core subjects are math and science for an architect. These are used to keep up the structure to make sure of the safety; otherwise the whole thing could collapse. The thing you need to do now to be prepared for being an architect is to take math and science classes and classes that involve dealing with commuters and building theory.

The reason I chose this job was that it had very well pay which would help with a lot of things. Another reason I chose this was because I have already, well kind of experienced with my father building a house with his workers and I have seen all the plans. Also i have been doing very well in math and science. So I think this is why I would be very good at this job.
